It is amazing how a couple of days of chilling out time allows you to think.
I had a thought about the comments I made about WW's and I still stand by them, but I have thought of other things that are actual an advantage to having them around. When I setup in business and registered with the inland revenue it meant that I can claim back my expenses and costs, which to me is a major advantage to running a small business officially. When your a WW you can't claim back for camera or computer costs, travel, etc. and I would say that when them business is quiet or tough that is very handy as you know you will always get some money back in your tax rebate. Another high point has to be that WWs also take care of all those potential clients who want to spend nothing and get everything. People who don't really see the true value of 10 years photography experience and almost 20 years of photography knowledge and association, if someone chooses someone who charges £50 for a full day wedding because they have been doing it for 6 months as against going with me ... good luck to them. Don't get me wrong, there are some very good Amateurs (amateur meaning I'm translation a keen practictioner) out there.
So yes, WW arent all that bad really as it means I don't waste as much time giving quotes and I can actually do things with my life like look into underwater photography as that is something I have always wanted to do. Keen an eye out for a new blog combine soon by me specific to my journey through discovering underwater photography and seeing how the underwater world reacts to what I am doing.
